Tower Campus is located at 820 North Michigan Avenue, along Chicago's
Magnificent Mile and west of Chicago's famous landmark, the Water Tower.
The conference will be held in the new business school facility at 25 East
Pearson Street (830 North). This building has six floors of library facilities,
four floors of class rooms, three floors dedicated to School of Law library,
three floors of faculty and administrative offices, computer labs, an auditorium,
the Information Technologies department offices, and a penthouse-level
reception room.

Conference Proceedings
One copy of the proceedings is included with your conference registration
fee. To order additional copies, please contact the IEEE
Computer Society.
Social Activities
There will be a reception for all attendees on Thursday evening, May 14,
from 6:15 to 8:30 at Kasbeer Hall, 25 East Pearson Street. You will be
on your own for lunch, but there are plenty of choices in the vicinity
of the conference site.
Hotels
We have negotiated special rates for ICCL attendees at the Talbott
Hotel (phone +1-312-944-4970, fax +1-312-397-3614, 20 East Delaware
Place) and at the Days
Inn Lake Shore Drive (phone +1-312-943-9200, fax +1-312-943-8077, 644
North Lake Shore Drive). Please mention ICCL/Loyola University to get the
special group rate. The hotels require a room deposit guaranteed with a
major credit card.
Rooms for Saturday night are very limited because of the annual
Chicago Restaurant Convention. Therefore, attendees should book their hotel
room first and only then purchase a plane ticket second.
The Talbott is only a two-minute walk away from the conference site,
but has fewer rooms available. The Days Inn is a fifteen-minute walk away
from the conference site, but has more rooms available, including rooms
for the tutorial/workshop. Specific availability

Hotel Cancellation Policy: To cancel your room without forfeiting
your deposit, you must notify the hotel at least 48 hours prior to your
scheduled arrival. If you change your departure date after check-in, you
may be subject to substantial additional charges.
Transportation to the Hotels

Recommended if traveling alone: The Airport
Express provides bus transportation service between the airports and
the downtown hotels. Advance reservations are required; please call +1-800-654-7871.

Convenient and recommended if traveling with others: Licensed taxicabs
provide transportation service directly to the hotels. For two persons
traveling, a taxicabs costs roughly the same as the Airport Express, for
more than two, it costs significantly less per person.

Inexpensive: The Chicago
Transit Authority trains connect O'Hare and Midway airports to the
Chicago Loop downtown area. Transfer at Washington Avenue to the Red Line
going north (direction Howard) until Chicago Avenue.

United Airlines is offering a 10% discount
off the unrestricted mid-week coach fair or 5% discount off the lowest
applicable fares, including First Class, to all attendees of ICCL '98.
This special offer applies to travel on domestic segments of all United
Airlines, United Express and Shuttle by United flights. Mileage Plus members
receive full credit for all miles flown to this meeting. United's convenient
schedule and discounted fares are available through United's Meeting Desk.
Simply call (or have your travel agent call) 1-800-521-4041 and refer to
Meeting ID Number 569PQ. Reservationists are on duty seven days a week
from 7:00am to 12:00 midnight Eastern Standard Time. Tickets can be mailed
by United, picked up at your local travel agency or United Airlines ticket
office. Call soon as seats may be limited.

Conference registration includes admission to the technical sessions,
morning and afternoon refreshment breaks, the Wednesday evening reception,
and one copy of the proceedings.

13 May 1998 from 9:00am to 5:00pm. Tutorial/workshop registration includes
